WEDDING FLOWER TRENDS

WEDDING FLOWER TRENDS

Wedding flower trends change from year to year, decade to decade.  During the 1920's and 30's woman would have carried very large bouquets that spilled over with trails of greener.  They truly were works of art and I'm sure the florist was up all night creating them being refrigeration was not commonplace.  Today 90 years later we are seeing a comeback of the grandiose style of Great Grandma's time.  These beautiful bouquets tend to be wide and long with unexpected elements trailing down the to create a just picked garden cascade.  Rich jewel tones are showing up from ruby red to rich golden tones.  Some prefer a more muted Victorian coloring that is rich and romantic, with large blooms like Peony and Dahlia at the center.

One thing I've learned through more than twenty years of working with brides is that her bouquet is a personal expression of her style and her love for nature.
