Wedding Florist Do's and Don'ts

Wedding Florist Do's and Don'ts

I have heard that the best thing is to get multiple price quotes. Problem is there is much to interoperate from one florist to another.

The most important thing is to go with your gut reaction to the person and their profiles. Good reviews on a wedding platform such as Wedding Wire

or the Knot.com are a good source of pier reviews. Don't just look at the stars, but the content of the review as well. If you see numerous references

to creativity, quality, customer service and overall happiness with the job completed in multiple reviews, you have a winner.

As a wedding florist with decades of experience, I can tell you, that just because one is $300 less that the other, the services rendered may not be the

same. Style, quality and customer service should all be of the highest responsibility of your wedding vendors.

Specifically with florist, you want someone who listens to your vision and will

be honest with you as to affordability. In the early years of my career I wanted to say yes to everyone to make them happy,

but if you try to push a square peg through a round hole it doesn't work. When I estimate a tall centerpiece design and I undervalue

the cost, the final product will not impress, so I don't do it. I've learned that to truly give someone my bottom line to keep the visual style and quality

of what they are expecting is extremely important.

I hope this is helpful to you. Weddings are exciting and stressful at the same time, as this such an important day for both of you!

I love flowers and weddings. They give me hope for the future of the world we live in!

All my best wishes,

Martha
