Share your "gifts" this Holiday Season.
We've just celebrated Thanksgiving and are headed into the December "Holiday Season". We'll celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah and the New Year by attending religious worship, holiday parties and family celebrations. Being a retailer I have been focused on this season for more than four months because all the holiday items I sell need to be purchased well before they can be displayed. Personally I love the Christmas season, the baking, decorating and family gatherings most of all. Being a creative type, I have always taken pride in making gifts for people. I know that the time and effort spent was truly a labor of love. We have gotten very far from keeping gifts simple and spend endless dollars and hours fighting crowds to get a great price.
To make this holiday season extra special try using some of your "gifts" to make a gift for someone else. If you are not crafty or artistic just use your creative thought and put together something inexpensive that takes some extra time and caring to put together. This will be a gift that you give and receive at the same time.
Wishing you all a blessed holiday season.
Merry Christmas,
Martha
