As a small child I was told that Santa took care of all the making and delivering of toys to good little girls and boys, and that was that. As I grew I became more and more interested in how he managed to pull off this amazing feat without missing a beat. My mom explained that Santa could not be everywhere he was needed at the same time, so Santa's helpers were important. As an older sister I was intrusted to be one of those helpers as not to ruin the surprises for my younger siblings. Eventually I became a mom myself and was again enlisted into Santa's long list of helpers, putting together all kinds of toys till the wee hours on Christmas Eve so my boys would wake up to the delight of seeing all the special toys they requested from Santa. Sending a letter to Santa was a learning experience in itself. When their lists got too long, it was my job to explain that Santa had many children on his list and we needed to ask for only the most important things so Santa would have enough toys for everyone.
My children are grown now and don't race down to the tree, but I have been recruited once again as one of Santa's helpers. You see, just like Santa florist spend much of their holiday season making beautiful gifts to deliver Christmas Cheer to everyone on your list. We deck our stores with holly, balsam and pine wreaths, centerpieces and blankets. We add beautiful trimmings to boxwood Christmas trees, decorate Poinsettia plants and even make up specialty Chocolate Towers so everyone will have a sweet holiday.
It is an honor to serve as one of Santa's helpers and the greatest rewards are in the smiles we receive as we deliver your good wishes for a blessed Christmas Season.
